RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
THE MARKET WOMAN
At THE MARKET WOMAN, we sell fresh and perishable food items. Due to the nature of our products, returns are limited. However, we comply fully with Nigerian consumer protection laws.
Reporting Time
Customers must report any issues:
- Within 1 hour of delivery for perishable or quality-sensitive items
- Within 24 hours for non-perishable items
Claims must include:
- Order number
- Clear photo or video evidence
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and food safety reasons, we do not accept physical returns of:
- Fresh produce
- Perishable goods
- Opened food products
Refund & Credit Policy
1) Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. Approved cases will receive store credit only.
2) Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If an item is delivered:
- Damaged
- Spoilt at delivery
- Not what was ordered
The customer may choose between:
- Replacement (subject to availability), OR
- Refund to the original payment method
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the error was from us.
